Chillin with the Third Chapter Crew in Hotham

Myself and Belmore headed over to Hotham for a weekend filled of shovelling with Tim and Rainer.
Liam Kaska with his camera and Will Kendel with the video camera were ready to shoot and get the shots. We started off building a step-down back country jump over the back side of Hotham, sessioned that for a little while, I managed to get a pretty sweet backside rodeo off it.
Next up we found a sweet A-Frame metal jib in a junk yard, set it up and messed around on that for awhile before getting in some 4wding. The next day we went back over where our jump was and set up another stepdown, this thing was sweet, could of been perfect if there was just a little bit more snow. Later that night we got some shots using a stump, tabletop and a little landing.
Thanks to Will Kendel,Liam Kaska and Rainer for the weekend!

Mountain Dew

Was stoked to be apart of the 2010 Mountain Dew Hut comp!
Ride selected myself and Kieran McLaughlin to represent them in the comp, hadnt ridden with Kieran before but I'd hear a lot of good things.
By the end of the night I was stoked on how myself and kieran rode, he kills it.
With having a broken wrist and hand I was trying to be pretty careful but I felt comfortable enough to throw a few big tricks like a back rodeo off the far up box on the roof gaping to flat. The Oakley team came through with the goods taking first place and Decampo scored the Gatorade rookie prize congratulations to the NZ boys and Chris. The results showed that we came 6th.

From a good day to a funny night to a shit day

So what do you do after a good day of shreding with some money in your hand?
You go out and party! Thats exactly what I did, cought up with a few mates in the city and got loose.
Long story short myself and my mate Zac got jumped by around 8 guys(wogs) for noreason in the middle of the city on the way home, ended up doing alright for ourselves which resulted in them running away, had a few laughts about it after then when to the strippers.
Come the next day both our hands were pretty sore and swolen, after an xray, I had broken my hand and wrist and my mate broke his finger in two places. Got a cast put on and bobs ur uncle, good as gold. Mt Dew comp in one week!

Forum Rail Jam at Baw Baw

Headed up to Baw Baw with Belmore for the Forum Rail Jam this weekend. The event was dope once again and the weather didn't let us down. The comp was run with two heats of around 20 people, 8 riders from each heat went through to finals. I managed to get through to the finals. I felt like I rode pretty consistent and landed a few good tricks which managed to score me 2nd place! I walked away with $500 in $5 notes a rad artillery box, skull candy headphones and some T's.
1st Robbie Walker
2nd Andrew Roth
3rd Mitch Williams
Best Trick Mat Galina

So what its been like 3 months since my last post, shit my bad. Been sooper busy.
Whats news: 1. had our premier for Spare Change By Wetsocks Productions, went super well had a massive turn out and was stoked on my part, managed to get the closing part! After party was just as good, sent it.

2. Got shots run in all the first issues of Transfer, snowboarder and snowboarding magazines, I'll scan them and chuck them up when I can.
3.When I try to think about whats been going on I cant remember.
4. Season has started at Buller not much snow but cant complain, mini park on Burk Street bit of fun.
5. Had qualification for the Burton Cattlemans rail jam, made it through and competed in the final, unfortunately my binding broke first hit but managed to keep riding with the help of Nick Reichstein finding some zip ties and doing his best to hold my foot in place. Rode pretty mellow in the comp but put down a few good tricks.

6. After party in Kooroora was pretty dope, big turn our of riders and friends as well as the people responsible for keep the snowboarding industry going. It was awesome to see big dogs them self Ryan Stanistreet from Rusty, Scott Gosden from Ride and Steve Watts from Ballistyx getting their drink on and having a good time.

7. Think that's it...
